Russell started Focus Real Estate Group (FOCUS) in 2010 and merged with Keller Williams in 2014. The move to Keller Williams has allowed Focus to expand its service, utilizing a global platform while maintaining a boutique experience for its clients.
FOCUS is grounded in service and its ability to connect to the needs of its clients. Whether it is a luxury residential deal, commercial lease or land disposition, FOCUS handles all of its clients with utmost care and attention to detail.
Prior to founding FOCUS, Russell was The Director of Acquisitions at SAXA, Inc., a national real estate development company. His efforts were heavily focused on residential marketing and sales, project management, relationship management, negotiation, financial modeling and due diligence. Prior to joining SAXA he was the Director of Sales at a boutique, full service brokerage – The Quest Group, where he successfully managed a team of real estate professionals and handled the day-to-day operations of the brokerage division. Russell has completed over $500 million in transactions covering sales of apartments, buildings, land, office & retail leases.
He began his career as a tax consultant and senior auditor in the Real Estate division of KPMG, where he learned fundamental real estate and general business practices. Today, Russell is focused on client service, business development & talent acquisition for the Group.
Russell received his Bachelors degree in accounting from The Isenberg School of Management at The University of Massachusetts Amherst and he is a graduate of New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. He is involved in many organizations including REBNY, YREPNY, Habitat for Humanity, LCFA and UJA. He is an avid sports fan and travels whenever he can.
